Hi, I’m Sophia!

I’m the founder of Sunset Birth as well as a Christian, wife, and mama to an energetic toddler! I’ve been a birth doula and teaching childbirth education for six years, supporting hundreds of families as they prepare for birth.

I created the Radiant Birth Course because I saw too many moms not get the Christ-centered birth education they deserve, but instead be lured into our worldly birth culture of fear, anxiety, and over-medicalization.

After experiencing fear and anxiety in my own pregnancy, I’m passionate about helping moms overcome their fears and trade them for SURRENDER and TRUST not by avoiding preparation, but by stewarding their pregnancy with intentional and Christ-centered birth prep.

  • The Radiant Birth Course is a hybrid/cohort style experience beginning on September 1st and new lessons/modules are released every week through December 1. This allows you to move through the material at a steady pace without feeling overwhelmed!

    After the course ends, you will have LIFETIME access to all content so you can return to it at any time.

  • This course is ideal for moms due between December 2026 and early spring 2027. You will probably still benefit from the course content if you’re due before December, but if you want more personalized preparation check out my birth planning sessions or getting the Christian birth affirmation cards!

  • Absolutely!!! Husbands are encouraged to learn the content alongside their wives to get on the same page and learn practical ways to support you during labor.
